The name Deuxsign wasn't picked at random. It wasn't a mad flight of fancy on the part of a designer either. Neither was it an attempt at pretending to be art.

It is based on a simple observation at a given time.

Of course, the name comes from an easy pun. Design + Deux signes (" two signs " in French) = DEUXSIGN. But it also reflects the deeper fact that our trade is based on a series of double processes.

On the one hand we work on actual goods for example, designing objects, communication media, posters and so on. And on the other hand we work in the realm of virtual reality. This is when we create websites or 3D models. In fact, even the objects we create have first been designed virtually through computer programs. We have few physical but plenty of 3D models. We can show you objects that don"t even exist yet!

Similarly, our work is part pure creativity but also part engineering. Even the most brilliant idea cannot be used as such. It needs to be adapted and worked on to suit its function and the needs of our clients. When designing objects for example, you have to keep production needs in mind. And when designing websites wild flights of fancy may need to be curbed to adapt to the reality of computer encoding...

Understanding and manipulating those limits, while meeting the demands of the customer is what makes our job so fascinating!

But of course, we don't just design out of the blue. We are here to understand and meet your needs. We are here to collaborate closely with you on your designs, so that we can meet your expectations most effectively.
